A little about me.

I'm Marilynne, founder of The Quiet Dream Co. and the only person you'll ever deal with here. When you email me, book a call, or turn up to a session, it's genuinely me. No team pretending to be me. Just me.

My path into coaching started long before I made it official. For years I worked in the public sector, quietly carrying my own dream of doing this work full time, never quite finding the moment to begin. When I eventually left that chapter, I understood something I hadn't fully grasped before: that carrying a dream for a long time doesn't make it less real. It just makes the excavation a little more interesting.

That's the work I do now. I coach public sector professionals who have a long-held dream of starting their own business, helping them work out whether they're ready to activate it or whether there's something underneath it that needs looking at first. I came to this work through lived experience, through leadership roles, through getting a late ADHD diagnosis that reframed a lot of things, and through formal training. I hold a Diploma of Workplace and Business Coaching and a Master of Business Administration, and I'm a member of the International Coaching Federation, currently working towards my ACC accreditation.

My approach is gentle, structured, and honest. There's no pressure here to have it figured out before we begin. You're allowed to arrive uncertain. You're allowed to be mid-thought, mid-doubt, mid-dream. The coaching space I create is calm on purpose, because I've found that clarity tends to arrive when people finally feel safe enough to think.
